Powerflow 4.5 inch

   I have a chance to get a complete exhaust system made by powerflow quite cheap but the only concern i have is that the backbox is 4.5 inch, which imo is a bit big. Would that be ok on my black top VTR engine or would i lose any power as a result of that ? Thanks in advance !

   not sure mate as for the moment i was told its 4.5 ich powerflow from VTR with sports silencer which should pass MOT. I am planning to have a look at it really towards the end of next week as quite busy for now.

   4.5 is a joke
   as are most pooflows
   
   you will have no backpressure so will loose performance

   unless the whole system is the same bore you will loose power. and a sports silencer will just reduce the noise of the exhaust so its not deafening. Make sure its not a decat as that will fail your MOT!

   emissions fail your mot, de-cats will not.

   Ive had a powerflow exhaust and compared to the supersprint it was shocking. The powerflow made me loose ALOT of power

   I was also told that the backbox is welded to the mid section so i assume that the whole system is the same bore

   I wouldn't get 4.5" way too big, will look crap, sound crap and you car will perform like crap.
   
   I don't like powerflow in general tbh.

    Yer powerflow dealers have a habbit of chopping off the end of the mid section so they can fit a slide fit (easier for them) but it bollocks your mid section so you can fit the oem back box back on with out welding.
