Spraying the exhaust...

  1. #1
Well basically, my exhaust has got pretty rusty but i dont wanna mess about getting a new one etc etc...ive got some black citroen spray left over from previous tasks so was thinking of spraying the exhaust black (my saxo is black)

would i just do this the same as spraying alloys? (sand, primer, paint, lacquer)

could be a bit tricky getting under the bodykit but as long as i get all the bits that are in view thatll be fine.

    thanks

Ahh I completely forgot about heat resistant paint lol, thanks all (Y)

Would this one be OK? It says it doesnt need primer so it sounds quick and easy to use

or should i go for this one?

either should do you but i would go for the second one as it goes upto 650degrees, how much of the exhaust are you spraying? just the tail pipe or everything down to the manifold?

okeydokey i'll probs go for that one then..i'm sure ill find some other use for the left overs eventually anyways lol

i was thinking of just spraying the tail pipe, the bits you can see without getting down and looking at it properly..just to make it look cleaner because the rust doesnt look good
