not really great tbh, they are pretty much standardish ones.. i work for CRN-Products.. we sell performance discs and pads, so if you want something with more bite, yea go for standard discs, but invest in some quality pads.. like the ebc greenstuff ones :y they are cheap but good performance for a saxo.

The actual mintex discs ones are the same compound as the standard discs you get from motor factors, but just with a brand name on the box. If you want improved braking, you want higher spec calipers, larger discs and quality pads

Mintex seem fine for me. Cheap, and do the job quite happily.

    Notheing wrong with mintex stuff!
One of the biggest and most respectd names in the business, both in standerd and uprated form!
As for ebc greenstuff best place 4them is the shelf of the maker!
Have never had such bad underperforming pads on a car as they are!
Did i mention the vibration they caused?
Better off with a brick on rope than them!
If u want uprated pads get mintex 1144, ferodo ds2200 or the best of the lot pagid rs4 blue!

Agreed when i bought mine someone put them on and they are possibly the worst pads i have come across, even when hot, they still dont have bite, but from cold suprised they stop you.
