front end respray

   any idea how much it would cost me to have the bonnet, front bumper and wings resprayed? they've just got light stone chips so is there anything less drastic than fully respraying them like a touch up or sumthing? ideas on price?

   i paid £500 for bonnet, wings and bumper mate.
   
   prices i got varied from £250 to £580

   i got a quote for the bonnet and bumper at 100 notes ... bit of mate rates though ... do you no anyone in the buisness?

   no i dont unfortunately, its not an urgent job atm will probably do it once iv passed my test lol

   touch up pens are crap, it looks worse than having stone chips lol

   true but might look at getting it resprayed anyway cos it needs doing really not sure yet tho

    id say between 400-600 at a normal size bodyshop with booths, small bodyshops could probably do it for about 300. just depends where you go.

    i got new bonnet new wings and bumper then had them sprayed and it cost me 250 queens heads, just look around and youl find somewhere cheap bruv

    Why, wet sanding is easy, i do it sometimes after re-sprays then give it a full machine polish, dont do it on really fresh paint tho or you will take it back off lol. A frot end respray where i work would be arround 250 if theres no dents and its a streight forward re-spray, if theres quite a bit of bodywork we need to see it.

    to be ohnest i reakon you should have a go with the touch up pen see if your happy with it if not £6.50 down the drain and go get a proper respray saves getting the respray when you could easily be happy with a touch up pen.
