#6Pug1off are reknowned for loweing by splines and notches on the torsion bars though, it is quicker as it gets them an easy buck but there are several reasons why this is the wrong and potentially damaging method to use
Myself and Lee_VTR1 also do lowering, We'd do the front and the rear for £90, obviously less for the torsion bars alone -
#7390 not a bad price at all. how long does it take you?
-
#8The front generally doesnt take very long atall, its the rear that is a bit of a wild card sometimes.
Alot of people seem to assume that older cars will be awkward and seized and take ages, but from the large amount that we've done now the easiest one has been a P reg and several other N-R reg ones have been easy.
A 53 plate has been among one of the most awkward so far.
Luck of the draw really. It takes as long as it takes to do everything properly, as im sure everyone would agree
A general rough idea is 4 hours for the front and rear to be done allowing for a steady pace, the odd tea break and a car of average condition.
Of course take it with a pinch of salt, could get lucky and have it done in a few hours or could be a pain and take longer -
#9Is there any 1 in northampton that can lower the back of my vtr plz

I would imagine everyone that has posted in this thread saying "I can do it" is able to do it.
