smooth boot

   hi all dont know if this is in the right place but..
   
   i was looking to smoth boot my 1L wast coast.
   
   was just wondering:
   
   1.how much hassle this is going to be.
   
   2.how would i go about getting my boot to open as the lock will be removed..
   
   3.how much it will cost for everything i need.
   
   i dont reely hav a clue on this typa stuff so would be reely helpfull if i could get a good insite to it.

   i think it would be quite abit of hassle and you need a popper on the boot to open it, would probably have to take it to body shop to have it done propperly, i have seen the smoothed bits on ebay that just need spraying and fitting

   the smooth bits off ebay dont always fit and still require a certain amount of body work.
   
   Best bet is a body shop price can vary depending on quality

   tbh mate i wouldnt really bother as i dont think it looks very good at all

   agreed. looks abit gay if its not on a vtr / vts that hasnt been mod'd to fuck anyways.

   it was just a thought so i might just leev it 4 a while till i have my system, buckets and exhaust then think about any sort of bodywork on it..
   
   was wondering if anyone has got these seats or know anything of their quality aswell b4 i buy some..

   look for a smoothed boot on ebay or buy a second boot of a scrapyard like i did , bring it to the body shop and let them smooth it , and find a boot popper , connect the boot popper to the handle of the rear wiper like i did ( if u removed youre wiper though .. )
   
   and then when u turn the wiper handle for a sec ( on and off or you will smoke the relais .. ) the boot pops open : so you dont need to re wire the whole damn thing and you dont need to find a decent button etc ..
