Lexus lights - help!

Hi all,

I'm very interested in buying a set of Lexus lights for my new saxo (first cheap body mod!) and i have absolutey no mechanical brain cells whatsoever..!

For those of you who have a replacement set of lights fitted (which is prob the majority) could u tell me if an idiot such as myself would be able to fit them?

yes you could, you undo the wing nut, remove the lights, unplug them, plug new lights in, redo wing nut.

AS for lexus lights erm up to you if you want them but i would save money for something a little less "common" shal we put it

Thanks scott, i might have a try then if it's that simple - what do you mean by 'common' though?

Y'see they're just about the only thing cheap enough for my student budget

I know virtually everyone has them but i still like the look of them!

I think lexus lights are "chavish" (not calling you one) but they a very very common.

A better option would be some smoked lights instead

I think you can blag some lexus lights on a silver saxo or other silver automobile for that matter. If i had bought something else then i would have got something a lot different.

And strangly i'm not chav,

Rite I need to start crackin on spawning my 7th child...

lexus' are well easy to fit, nothin to them!!!

everyone has their opinion on the lights, i think they look nice personally!!!

i have a set of lexus lights!! i like them!!
but i am changing them in the new year to the ultra smoked jewel ones!! look much better on black cars!

LOL - each to their own. I occasionally put my Lexus lights back on. I still think they look good on silver or black Saxo`s. Its your car Lozi - do what you like

think they are far too commom, mroe common than standard lights!

maybe go for some ultra jewel lights

I'd say go for the smoked one's, you'll just get slagged off to much if you get the lexus styles, they are only cheap now as they are way to popular & people just dont want them any more, you could probably pick up a brand new set of smoked rears for around £80, if you look in the right places.

You could pick up a set of smoked, clear, blue, green ultra rear lights for around £60. I would think a set of lexus lights would set you back around the same amount.

So you can aswell damo, if you have £60 going spare then get yourself a pair of these , i dont know how they are lexus style as you cant really see passed the smoked bit, but they look exactly the same as mine, pictured above.

- i was interested in some jewel ultra clear lights for sale on here, but i saw a pic and i thought they were just too bright and completely took over the car!

Tints are not a bad idea tony, thanks for the links

Well guys i took the plunge and got some lexus lights!
I decided Arioch was right and it's my car and i'll do what i like - and i'm rather pleased with the result!

Swopped with GaleVTR (eventually, after getting lost, some git taking my wingmirror off, and it peeing down with rain!!)

They were very easy to swop over, just like Scott said - even tho GaleVTR did them for me i reckon i could've done it myself!

But thanks for all your advice guys

i took the standard lights and smoked them myself, heres the result

i was thinking of returning them to standard what you think?
