    correct

surely a manifold with a cat in won't fit on a mk1 hence the reason why citroen changed the oil filter set-up for the mk2?

edit- he's going mk1>mk2, read it the wrong way round

seems like a stupid question to me but puting a mark 1 mani on a mark 2 will decat the car right?
seems like it would be easier to replace the cat under the car rather than in the mani for mot time?

Easier to change centre section than mani

soz for thread hijack but could you use a aftermarket mani, standard mark 1 centre section with a decat and a backbox, then just swap the decat pipe for the cat when it comes round to mot time?

    if that makes sense

^^^^^^^^^^Yes mate that is what most people do

I have a janspeed mani and i had to move all of the oil filter set up too.

So let me get this straight?

Ok with the MK2 Saxos then, say you have a:

    Supersprint 4-2-1 Manifold
    Supersprint Race Centre Section
    Supersprint Race Backbox

    Therefore Decatted yes?

Does this mean come MOT time, you can just take out the Supersprint centre and put on a MK1 VTR centre?

    I'm a tad confused.

Yeah I think you would have to take off the supersprint centre and just put on the standard centre section to be able to refit the cat. I think that is correct but get a MK1 VTR owner to clarify that lol
