#2I think so, yes. Just the racelands you have to watch isnt it?
-
#3yep it will fit i did it on mine before i got a raceland
-
#4the mk1 manifold dosnt have manifold cat is tha corect ?
-
#6seems like a stupid question to me but puting a mark 1 mani on a mark 2 will decat the car right?
seems like it would be easier to replace the cat under the car rather than in the mani for mot time? -
#8soz for thread hijack but could you use a aftermarket mani, standard mark 1 centre section with a decat and a backbox, then just swap the decat pipe for the cat when it comes round to mot time?
if that makes sense -
#9^^^^^^^^^^Yes mate that is what most people do
I have a janspeed mani and i had to move all of the oil filter set up too. -
#10I have a silver top engine in my mk1, With a 4-2-1 but the manifold is meltin the plasticfilter!!!
-
#11cheers for the help guys, that will save me forking out 150 for a cat, will just fit that weld the old one and keep it for MOT
-
#13So let me get this straight?
Ok with the MK2 Saxos then, say you have a:
Supersprint 4-2-1 Manifold
Supersprint Race Centre Section
Supersprint Race Backbox
Therefore Decatted yes?
Does this mean come MOT time, you can just take out the Supersprint centre and put on a MK1 VTR centre?
I'm a tad confused. -

Yeah I think you would have to take off the supersprint centre and just put on the standard centre section to be able to refit the cat. I think that is correct but get a MK1 VTR owner to clarify that lol
