    Hey mate.

Im not 100% sure about the Furio's but i no with a VTR you will need a new head gasket as the head has to come off.

not sure how much it costs for that.

A Good garage up here charges around the £380 mark to supply and fit a cam, but they are VERY good with there prices!.

I would expect to pay anything from £150-£300 and some garages tbh

I had the headgasket replaced 8 weeks ago, so i should be ok on that matter
£380 supplied and fitted does seem fairly good i guess.

Yea but the head will have to come off, thus meaning the head gasket will need done again...

I believe the above is correct, although someone may correct me lol

So i'd have to pay something like £250 to get the headgasket done, plus the £380 for cam fitting? Or would they just charge for the gasket?

i think they would just charge for the gasket as the head is coming off anyways so its not really a seperate job, if you get me??

Im 90% sure you have to get a new headgasket, im sure someone will clear this up though....

The guys at the garage which i mentioned before is on here, its "manic motors" maybe post up in there for info ?

your best getting a vernier pulley aswell so they can set the timing properly. not all garages can set the timing on aftermarket cams either.

its just for a PH1 mate, so it should be ok with the standard shouldnt it??

thought you only really needed one if it was a ph3 or the likes

dunno what the timing figures are for that cam. might be ok.

yea im sure its ok for a mild cam liek the PH1 but for a more wild cam it is alot better to get the vernier pully
