#4green filters, allow more air though, and have a bigger gauze ... BUT its better suited to cars that are only having low milage and short bursts, such as Climbs and short races.
for day to day, you need something thats going to filter more, but still less restrictive that Stock...go for K&N -
#5tonto mate i was originally gonna go for the K&N but i got confused with what one to buy for my 51 plate 2001 VTR, K&N stock 2 types for my model....a long rectangular one and a square one (sorry cant remember the model numbers) but heres the links:
http://www.motaman.co.uk/productDetails.aspx?nPId=805
http://www.potn.co.uk/p1506524.htm
and on the K & N website they stock 2 types aswell -
#6couldnt get onto the k and n website that shows the 2 types better... mines a 2001 model but there seems to be 2 k and n models available....do you know what the correct k and n panel filter i will need mate...thanks and soz to waffle on .... thats the only reason i chose the green panel filter...and cos of the rep they have...

#10whats thye k and n for 2 lambda all about? how do u tell if thats what you have?
and does any of you no what the shipping costs are form kam racing? -
#11the 2 lambda will be for the models which have the two lambda sensors so for your model there will be one in downpipe and one further down basically one before the cat and one after all for better emissions for your car so all your looking for are two sort of plugs which are screwed into your exhaust1 user thanked this post:

#13KamRacing i was planning on ordering from your site anyway... its the same with the ones on your site...seems to be 2 different k and n models for a 2001 VTR:
http://www.kamracing.co.uk/manufactu...mbda-1492.html
http://www.kamracing.co.uk/manufactu...6-8v-1940.html
my airbox looks square and the (E-33-2227) model looks to be the one that would fit. Il get my pal to open it up a look at my standard one 1st. I will hopefully be making a few purchases from Kam Racing but 1st i want to get this panel filter sorted .... lol...
