touring strip MOT FAIL

   hi, anyone know how to easily remove a touring strip?
   had it fitted a few months ago but didnt realise it would fail the mot

   I've had one on nearly all my cars for the last 10 years.....never failed any MOT's

   its only a fail if it fowls the window wipers.

   only if its a solid colour iirc ie if you can see through it then really its whether the tester is a cunt or not

   warm it up with a hair dryer and slowly peel it off

   take it off, but when it passes park up outside the garage so he can see you and put it back on!!!!!

   it failed because its 40mm to low, so the wiper blades go over it. he said if it was see thru it would have passed no problem.
   
   
   they guy is legit as i have been going there for past 5 years with cars. i dont mind removing it, would make my car look less chavvy i guess

    Haha, done that before with my motorbike!! had my letterbox number plate in my pocket and just sticky taped the standard one on and then when he passed it i simply got the forms and chaged me plate in his yard lol he was not impressed
