how to smoke chrome angel

  1. #1
ive done this last night and today, my angels arent in the best condition i know but it worked as didnt like chrome ones

i heated them up with hair dryer to soften the glue as they are perspex lenses i thought the oven was a bit extreme

on mk1s there is 4 scews to seperate the bit you want to pain from the lense

then there are two screws to take off the each angel eye (this is a good time to change leds if you wanted as they just push into back of angel eye)

next i primed the bits i wanted black

then left them on radiator over night to harden

this morning i sprayed the whole thing gloss black

waited for it to harden then started putting it back together

i removed all the old glue and put fresh new silicone back in to re sael it all

then re fitted lights back into car which took the most amount of time

ahhhhhh much better, hope ya like just fogs to do!!!!!!!!!

Looking awesome buddy if its THAT straight forward i may just do the same, does this work with the conventional standard lights??

yeah std lights just the same pretty much. guide for them somewhere.

yes its that simple as i read that guide first, this was just to show angel eyes can be treated the same, but i wanted black ones (as had chrome ones) and theyre 80quid second hand, this cost 14 quid for primer, paint, and silicon and a bit of time
