#2you can't, they are a moulded part of the bumper. its all one piece mate
-
#3take the bumpers off (brackets at the back) and mask off the already painted part and get prepping=D
-
#4Dno if vt'rs etc are differnt but with my 1.1 you can just rip off the bump stips. but the bumpers i masked them up and then sprayed them when they were on
-
#5the side strips pull off iirc... but mask the rear and front as said.
-
#6Bumpers just pull off.
On the flatarch's the bumpstrips just pull off, but with the VT kit the bumpstrips are part of the front arches, rear arches and bottom of the doors. -
#7for the amount of work it wouldnt be worth it
-
#8so is the best thing to do is just mask it all off and spray it ??

#10so what paint do i use then mate for a good shiny finish ? because i want to look the same as the car like
-
#11just to add the side strips are part of the actual door and rear arch panels which are clipped and bonded to the car
there an arse to get off -
#12na ill probs just paint them on the car mate so ill have to mask them off and sand them and paint them but what paint shal i use ????/

#13have you got a garage to leave the car in? the primer, paint and laquer all take a good 24hours each to dry fully for the best result...
if you get the colour of you paint on your car and can get it made up into a tub rather that a rattle can to put into a spraying gun
theres a thread further down from red-saxo askin what paint and theres some names of paints on there and where to get it

#15yeah, paint that you can put into a spray gun. not got any links though sorry bud, there was a guy that posted up a pic of the bump strips he painted while they were on the car and it looked pretty gash tbh, rough lines and edges all over the place
