Anyone got customised number plates which they use on the road (rather than just show use)? What's legal and what's not? I wanna get some nice style plates for road use but don't wanna get pulled by the police and have to put the old ones back on. Found a website doing some nice styles - www.aplates.com - but I don't wanna go ahead if they cause me agro.

#2stick to standard font, standard spacing and no background images etc and you should be ok. you can expect grief from the police however if you take the piss with fonts such as italic etc for which they would be entirely justified in pulling you.

#3stick with standard font as sean has said as you will get pulled over for them. if you want to be different go for square shaped plates instead of rectangular.personally i think they look best on kits but you might think different.
