Rear window tint problem

  1. #1
hi i have tinted the back windows dark smoke and with a couple of hours. howeve today i attemped the rear, cut it to side and applied it the the inside. however i spent 1hr 30mins on squeegeing the tint to get the solution and bubbles out and no matter how hard i try the bubbles keep reforming. now my back window is a mess. ithought of taking the window off and trying again but dont know how to do that.

what do you suggest i do?

    Thanks

Doing it in one bit of film is going to be very hard to do yourself. The professinals use special templates to get it to fit propperly. The reason your having trouble on the rear window is because it has a curve in it.

leave it to dry slightly then try

i did my one my self about 4 years ago in one go i used a heat gun and went for it made it fit the window 1st then fitted it for without the protective film was hard but like ChrisRitchVTR says it will only cost 80 quid to get someone to come to your house to do it and they will cover it for a life time usually

any way get pics up when its done

id get a pro to do if it was mines. but if your gonna try it yourself. why not cut it to shape on the outside , then get a mate to help put it on the inside, then just trim the edges.
