Air Filter

First of all, if i get a few things wrong then sorry but i dont really know much about engines Right anyway, I've got a K&N which sits directly on my throttle body:

Surley this is just taking in hot air which is a bad thing if im not mistaken? So i'd like to get a cold air feed (think thats what its called) so it looks more like this:

Where would be the best place to get these tubes from to do this and how much (ish) is it going to be with a air filter (not k&n because there rather expensive lol)

    Cheers in advance

tubes can be bought from most motorfactors matey. The type of induction kit you want is called an Enclosed Induction.

I cleaned it with this oily substance stuff at work. My supervisor said it would be the best thing to use. then i dryed it using compressed air (then i found it you shouldnt do that) but at the mo im abit low on cash so when i get paid im going to get a new one and a new induction kit.
