Drive Shaft Question

Hi there,

Im new here and have a saxo, but its a friends saxo i've got a question about.

He has asked me, to post something on here as he has a phase 2 Saxo Vtr, which has had an unfortunate incident in its engine bay.

So he is not wanting to put a Xsara VTS engine in it.

Does anyone know what drive shafts he can use for it, obviously the VTR ones are not going to be any good, but will saxo VTS ones fit, or will the Xsara ones fit, or has he gotta go custom??

if he is putting in a xsara engine, he has alot of work ahead of him.

search "xsara VTS engine" here, and find loads of threads saying it wont happen.

anything is possible with enough knowledge, skills or money. but its not something that has ever been done.

as for drive shafts, you would need custom ones, ££££

would probably be easier to go with custom shafts. But may depend on whether he's looking to retain the standard struts, or try and fit some hybrid BE/MA one's on there, and what gearbox he's using (MA or BE).

Hmmm..... i have no idea what those last few things are on there.

I've just text him and said it'll prob be custom drive shafts.

Ill await his reply.

its alot of work to fit the xsara engine
if he is going to put that much effort,time + money in he is better of going for a mi16 turbo engine =)
