The rear quarter windows on a saxo are a nightmare. Where the windows meets the rubber it wears away leaving a clear line down the windows and along the edges i had them off 3 or 4 months ago and sprayed them back up again but it's happened again now. Is there some sort of technique or better paint i can use to stop it happening so quickly?
cheers

#2anyone? i'v noticed this is common on saxos so someone must have repainted them
-
#3How did you repaint them? What did you use? I hate the clear lines as well

#4i just rubbed them down and sprayed them back up with some matt black spray paint from halfords. only lasts about 5 months if that though. Suppose you just got to keep doing it when it comes off

#5I did mine, it lasted for about 2 days then just went back to how it was before

#6Im kinda confused with what you lot mean. Do u mean when the windows are tinted theres like a clear line yeh?
If so that also pisses me off lol but ah well

#7Black window etch paint is what you need mate - Im sure there was a guide on here somewhere.... Get some pics up of the results if you go ahead with it

#8Just brought mine from a garage and they have painted the back window again to cover to clear line and then used a plain black strip on vinyl cut to shape of the line to stop the rubber rubbing the paint on the window hope it will help

#9good fucking idea that mate vinyl here we come. I painted them the weekend but unfortunately there are areas on the paint that just won't go! Seem to be inside the glass or something it is very wierd. Either way the back has all been sprayed black and the results are alot better. Worth doing if you have got those clear lines.
