euro wheels

    im having my car lowered 60mm and going for a euro look but what wheels can i fit after without any problems

    i dont want the wheel to sit up in the wheelarch and dnt want to have to do arch work to make some fit

    im down 60 and have 15" wheels, no rubbing at all

    thanks do you think 60mm is good height for euro look or not enough, i wanna keep some ride comfort you see

    60 is nowere near low enough to get thestance to be "euro"

    as said to get the stance for euro look u really need coilovers, to go low enough, either to get the wheels tucked in under the archers or have them poking out with the arch almost resting on the stretched sidewall

    i am getting coilovers but i will need springs also wont i, i have never doen suspension on a car so dnt know wot im looking for tbh.

    have a look at lee_vtr's progress thread then you will see how its got to be.

    Going have to be lower than 60mm mate.

    No coilovers allow height adjustment, so u can fit ur wheels and raise or lower ur car until you get the arches where you want them in relation to the wheels/tyres. The coilover spring is usually 9" and its not the spring in this case that dictates the ride height rather the bottom collar it sit on. Which spins up or down a thread in order to raise or lower your car.
    Springs have a set drop, i.e 25mm springs, 50mm etc will drop ur car by that amount and not allow you to adjust the height
