X reg drive shafts? tapered or flat?

    i have a 2000 x reg vtr its a mk2 but have the 90hp silvertop engine.

    does anyone know what drive shafts i need tapered or flat?

    are you sure becuase its half a mk1 and half a mk2

    mk2 front end with mk1 engine and oil filter etc

    My VTS is T reg and that has tapered so...

    my car is one of the very first mk2s can someone tell me if they kno whether its got the mk2 drive shafts or mk1?

    They changed the shafts in 1999 so there's no reason why yours would be flat.

    i have a mk2 vts and need to change the shafts, will any mk2 vts shafts fit because of this tapered stuff? i know nothing about them tbh and dont want he wrong ones..

    thought taper was for the abs?

    The ABS pick up ring is for the ABS.
    The tapered end is where the shaft meets the hub. If you get the wrong ones they won't fit properly.
