Whining clutch noise

   Got a strange whining noise coming from the clutch, when I press the clutch pedel down it caries on whining but gets louder, would this be the thrust bearing and would I need a new clutch to solve this? Thanks.

   wrong section but yeah sounds like release bearing on its way out
   
   get it changed asap

   Sorry it's in wrong section, so replace just the release bearing or whole new clutch?

   just replace the release bearing if its knakerd but as the gearbox will be off you might aswell change the clutch at the same time makes sense to be fair..

   Yeah gotta be release bearing but as said makes sense to just have the whole clutch replaced gotta take the gearbox out for both
