The supersprint race tube removes the cat and the cat back lets you keep the cat on the exhaust system.

ooh so they are different lengths right?
i have the cat in the manifold....does that mean if i got a cat back it wouldnt fit between the manifold and backbox?

one is manifold back (cat in manifold).
one is cat back (cat under the car).

    lol
does anyone know where i can get a sports cat for my mk1 saxo ie cat under the car? im buying the cat back supersprint centre pipe and i might buy a new manifold but all seams a bit point less if im keeping the cat? but i dont wanna loose the cat cus i cant be arsed the keep fitting the cat everytym i get the cat mot'd so i thought a sports cat would be a good compromise and would it actually make much difference

also would be keepin the standard vtr back box also restrict the system much?
  21. #21
mot is only once a year and it only takes about 20mins to change over,

You don't have to? Just keep the cat pipe on and the cat back pipe for your car will fit on to it.

yea i no it'll fit lol im just sayin if ive gone to the expense of buying the centre pipe and a new manifold then ive still got the old cat inbetween the mani and the centre pipe so im wondering if that will restrict it much? if so i want a sports cat or i might just get a de-cat pipe watever would be better
