Hey how do i remove the entire air filter box, what tools do i need?. its currently about to rain outside and i want to slam this badass new filter on, so im trying to reduce time, is it just a case of a few bolts or is it much more technical. ?

Can you not look under the bonnet and work it out for yourself!?
  3. #3
Just undo / unscrew things that are holding it on? Common sense mate
  4. #4

well that as useful as a paper manifold, what is it with people trying to boost their post count with stupid f**king replies, he didnt ask for a smart as comment did he?

undo the 3 hoses, unclip the lid, and pull the rest of it out (its not as easy to fit back in though)

Quick way = Get a donor car/pack donkey and affix a strap to it and around the airbox. The give it some beans and yank it out,

Better way= screwdriver and spanner and undo the bracket and hose clips ;-)

If you cant work out something like that for yourself, should you really be taking it apart? To me it didn't even sound like he had looked under his bonnet.

People try and boost there post count here cos of the piss poor rules for the for sale section. You cant actually view the for sale area until you have 100 posts so this obviously will encourage people to spam...I know I did it when I was below 100 posts...I even asks the mods why it was in placed and never got a proper reply back

I would have done that, if I actually had anything to sell. Now I just make comments when I feel like it.

I can see why the rule is there to stop people selling (easy to scam) but why cant people below 100 posts simply view that part of the forum to be able to buy?

If they could view it then they could buy...duh.

Anyway this isnt the time or place for it and iv got over a 100 posts now so couldnt give a flying fuck.

On our forums, we expect people to have the common sense to be able to buy and sell however they feel. Hence no post count requirement.

You said view it? not view and buy?

And the reason is, becuase people would join the site, and basically rip people off in the for sale section.

I've been on here long enough now not to bother hah. I rarely post anyway.

If you can see what is for sale whats to stop you buying it??? Its pretty hard to scam someone if your buying something off them!

    1. I advertise for example a phone.
    2. You PM me
    3. I give you my paypal and ask you to send the money as a gift.
    4. You send the moeny as a gift.
    5. I dont send the phone, and keep the money. And because it was a gift, paypal cant do anything, and neither can you.

Pretty simple, and catches some people out, there was a thread in general chat about it yesterday, some fella was scammed like the above on ebay.

i thought the post count limit was to make sure only genuine members could buy and sell instead of random people coming on for a little market place.

like previously said, if you could view and buy that would be good, would still keep crappy sellers out.

but i dont need it, so doesnt bother me, quite want to be able to edit posts and have a signature though, but im in no rush, havnt been a member long.

also, no reason making shitty useless spam posts to get your post count, then u get a name for posting crap

Im saying people with under 100 posts should be able to view the for sale section, not make posts or anything (basically not be able to sell)

    Was I that unclear before?
