Rad problem?

    right stripped down my rad 2day and i noticed this sensor and there was no wie going to it should there be? and what is it for?



    also u think i need a new rad look at this?

    just looked n found out that its the switch to switch on the fan is this right?

    if so i got a fan that goes bumper side n thats already got a switch into it

    I thought it was temp sensor?

    i was looking in the haynes manual n said it was the fan switch coz some have the fan engine side? i guess the temp sensor on the thermostat?

    Temp sensor for the dashboard is above gearbox on side of engine underneath the induction pipe. The temp switch (ie it's either ON or OFF) is the one that is on th eradiator itself, that is the one that turns the fan on and off. Hope this helps

    so i dont need that then tbh coz mines got a wire that goes onto the fan motor itself so i guess that swithes it on and off?
