bored of the front off my saxo

  1. #1
what could i do to the front on my saxo now im broed and it look weird lol
i dont wanna get a body kit but wanna make look better anyone have any suggestions?

  2. #2
would you classa vt front bumper as a body kit , if not then stick on on the can look good without the kit
  3. #3
tinted headlights to break up some of that silver
  4. #4
If he put a VT* bumper on it he'd have to get the arches.

Tinted headlights, tinted foglights, Black chevrons.

Not a lot else you can do but it would smarten it up a ton.

    No he wouldn't.

Anyway personally i'd spray the mesh dark grey or black. Maybe tint the lights and fogs.

No it would'nt, drill a hole in the mounts and then it sits flush...

Laguna splitter would be ok, tinted light also a good option but a vt bumper on a flat arch looks good tbh
  10. #10
Get an exhaust coming out the front, my mate once did it with his mk1 micra
  11. #11
    Yes, daft.

As it isn't sitting correctly however much you like to think it is. It won't sit anywhere near flush without work. And without the rest of the kit it looks like every other saxo that some chav has bought a new bumper for
  12. #12
By work yes as i said two small drill holes... then it sits correctly

And id hardly say some 'chav' puts a Vtr/s bumper on a flat arch its usually a big hoover stuck to the front
  13. #13
Can no one else see that flush vtr bumper on scotts old car?

And the one in the pic does not sit correctly. Close, but no ciger.

But without the rest of the kit it looks exactly like that. Sticks out like a sore thumb.
  15. #15
go sam go sam , personaly i think the 1.1 pulls of a vt bumper really well scotts looked super cool, and fit near perfect better than i have seen some fitted on actual, vt's
  16. #16
Haha, lol yes dan i can see it... Looks flush to me

As did vipers on his derv, agreed jam they look smart
  17. #17
    Lol at flush

  18. #18

Where it meets the arch. I'm sorry, No matter what you say, that is NOT flush. It's close, better than if you did nothing but it's not flush.

    And LOL @ your insult
  22. #22
Sooo confused here.... sticking vt arches on there wouldn't make it flush at all? It's the same fit as a standard bumper?

No if you put the VT arches on, it would sit flush with the bumper, But then not the door, So you'd need the door parts, then the side skirts and the rear arches to make it all sit flush.

Then the rear bumper, because that wouldn't be flush.

The VT* bumper sticks out at each side where it's supposed to meet the VT* arches, I can take a pic of mine with one arch off if you insist

omfg................ tht bonnet does not sit flush must be casue of the bumper :>
  26. #26
I didn't know Viper had a vt on his shed.

it has been modded so instead of sitting flush with vt arches it sits flush with the wings

What Sam has been saying is if you re-drill the holes on the mounts or something then it sits flusher. Hence why the one's in this thread don't sit to badly.

Anyway who cares now, saxo's are gash.

But sits lower than the arches, So looks like someone has just gone out and bought a big bumper...

    Looks Like it's missing something.

Do the lot or don't bother IMO.

    Nothing wrong with that.

yeh would agree on getting a vt bumper. or if not, smoke headlights, smoke fogs, black mesh and black chevrons would set it off nicely
  41. #41

i think looks better with vt kit all round, but it doesn't look bad as long as done properly like in the pic.
  44. #44
wouldnt put just the VT bumper on, if you do, put the rest of the kit on and drop a bigger engine in
  45. #45
if i got a vt bump would i have to drill anything on it or no and would i need the rest on the vt body kit?
  46. #46
    you dont drill anything on...

The VT bumper sits out more than the standard flat arch bumper... So if you put the vt bumper on a flatty it will stick out by about half an inch maybe a tad more...

The vt bumper has two big black mounting points on either side, you drill a hole ion this and then bolt it to the mounts on your car...
  47. #47
    oh ok thanks
