98 bhp engine

   i have an r reg vtr but just bent the con rods on it so have decided 2 buy a 98 bhp engine but need 2 now will it fit into the old shape if it does wat do i need for the conversion cheers jay.

   it will fit, will need ecu, loom and keys from donor car and possibly the immobiliser transponder. Even with th eloom i think some re wiring maybe needed

   have the engine ecu and loom but not sure bout keys or transponder pickin up 2moro so need 2 know.

   Agree with what scott said and yes there will be some re-wiring needed as some of the plugs are different I think?

   cheers lads goin in 2moro all sorted now got ecu loom engine and box shud b done by monday possibly tuesday
