okay so was on the motorway today and heard a tapping sound...
engine was up to temp
happens in all gears
happens only between 2500 and 3000 rpm
happens when the accelerator is about 1/3 of the way down
i thought it could have been the wind rattling something, but it stops if i push the accelerator more or let off.
any ideas? known problems? or am i just over reacting?
