Spraying Nuts

This might sound stupid. I have just finished spraying my alloys, so now im going to spray my wheel nuts. But what i want to know is can you spray locking wheel nuts.
  2. #2
tbh mate theres no point cos when you do the nuts back up the wheel brace will just chip the paint back off, belive me ive tried before lol, better off getting new polished ones.

Aii i want them black see. Cause the car is black and the wheels are white. If i laquer them a good few times tho it should be ok shuddn it.

I just looked online for nut covers and i gotta say i will be getting these as it will work out cheaper by time i buy primer, paint and laquer. And far less work hehe.

    Cheers mate.

Nah its finee.. i sprayed my alloys and painted my wheel nuts black. Put them on and it chipped none off the nuts, you just have to do it carefully. I put each nut in a bit of bluetack, put em on the curb across the road and sprayed away at them haha

sounds alot of hassle but might do mine red when i get ma alloys done

i wouldnt paint the nuts as they will flake stright off no matter how many times you spray them.

If you have the sprays there already fair enough, but i worked it out to be cheaper to get the nut covers anyways so thats the route im going down lol
