as above is there a specific fittings i need for the saxo or are they universal but just different size pipes?
also what are JIC, BSP or Metric fittings?

Jic bsp metric are different fitting sizes and types
jic is commenly used in motorsport
fittings like hoses need to be matchd to the outlet/inlets of things like tb and intercooler.
Silicon pipe for connections and metal for joiners, make sure ends are swaged to stop blow off
dont use jubilee clips to secure.
Mikalor clamps are much better though cost alot more.
I can supply most of the above if given dimensions

i was thinking of going for a mocal 10row oil cooler and the site i was looking on said to specify what fittings i needed.
and its a oil cooler and intercooler the same thing.
i thought a intercooler it air to air and air to liquid and a oil cooler is just air to liquid?
please shed some light on this for me lol

intercooler is different to oil cooler. Intercooler is for cars with 'boost'.
iirc most 13 row oil coolers are 1/2" BSP fittings

Yes as said
intercooler and oil cooler are very different!
Intercooler drops down the air temp, makeing it more dense which inturn gives a bigger bang and thus more power
an oilcooler does what it says and cools the oil that circulates around the engine.
If fitting one id suggest getting a thermostaic one.as haveing oil which is too cold is as bad as haveing oil which is too hot

so u recommend intercooler to keep air temp down aswell as a oil cooler to keep the oil temp down for a turbo setup?

ideally yes - iirc though the intercooler does add to the lag? Not 100% thought, might be wrong as I'm not clued up on boost things.

Yes idealy you would fit both.
Getting them both mounted and pipes routed correctly is the hard part.
If you suspect high charge temps will be a problem then id also suggest fitting a water/methanol injection to reduce things further.
One is acceptable close to the tb exit, but one for each port would be better.
