Don't know what to do about my grill

    Just bought a 2000 wicked red saxo n i wna sort the grill out it looks very patchy n old just wondering what i should do. Can i just re spray it black or should i get a new one

    rub it down with some 400 grit paper, clean, spray plastic primer, wait 15 mins, more primer, wait 15 mins, more primer, leave to dry for 12 hours, sand down with 1200 wet n dry to get rid of any dust or grit, clean. Paint (halfords to saxo black or wicked red) 3 coats, sand between coats. leave to dry for 12 hours and then apply 2 coats of laquer, and leave to dry for 24 hours

    Get a carbon grill one or drimmer grill

    i resprayed mine yesturday in a matt black looks so much better, but might colour code it later but spraying it looks so much better than the faded grey look

    do this! would look good if you meshed it as well and did the chevrons black. heres mine that i did

    respray with satin black paint! as llardy says

    dont think you necassarily need to prime it with satin as some can go straight on
    jobs a good un!
