106 Steering wheel

   Hello, does anyone know if a 106 gti leather steering wheel will fit on the saxo plastic steering surround, or if i would need to purchase the steering surround from a 106? Has anyone tried this?

   The 106 is the same as the saxo so what comes off one should fit to the other. Sept a few parts but majority is interchangeable

   Hi, An leather 106 gti steering wheel will fit, but your sax airbag unit not. Because the unit from a 106 leather steering wheel is bigger.
   
   I had this problem, and drive with a lion on my wheels airbag.
