Whats faster VTR or 106 GTI?

   I was just wondering which car is faster out of te saxo VTR to the 106 GTI, as i have heard many different things and dont know what to beleive.

   gti has the same engine as the vts
   
   so has 30 - 22 hp more then a vtr

   gti & vts = same engine
   vtr = slower than gti & vts

   as above vtr is 90 or 98 bhp depending on year
   
   vts/gti 120bhp

   Mate your obviously a noob boy racer and it wont be long until your car is sat on the top of a scrap heap pile with some front end body modifictions anyway
   
   why bother shelling out for mods etc when your just going to write you car off in sainsburys car park?

    Haha this is funny - i cant beleive this debate goes on. I can imagine people sitting in a car park at Mc. Donalds seeing a GTI drive past and a VTR owner thinking i wonder if mine is quicker than that! VTR has no chance against a VTS i have owned both.

    Use common sense,
    
    Cars literally the same as a spaxo,
    
    VTR has a 1.6 8V engine & GTI has a 1.6 16V ~ what would make you think the GTI would be slower then a VTS with the same engine because thats what you are assuming...
    
    VTR is a space rocket, and seems plenty fast enough for you to handle haha

    I thought it was the R for VT RACER, rather than the VT S - SLOW.
