    Sould do yes mate

The centre box, is more the keep it quite. The cat is what makes the biggest difference to emmisions.

    What size is your exhaust?

You could just buy for instance the Supersprint centre section, which is silencer less

i got a centre pipe off kam racing. it needed a bit welding in it and i was also using a mk 1 decat pipe but it passed the mot no probs. ive heard that a mk 1 1.1 has a straight through pipe, maybe that would fit?

Some testers can be right arse's, if you have any kind of non standard exhaust they will fail you. All depends where you go

As long as your not failing on emissions and it isnt over the decibel level for overall loud/noisyness then i dont see why they would fail you.

as long as the cats still in and in good working order you should be fine
