1.4i Furio

   Hey all!
   
   About 2 weeks ago i bought myself a loverly 1.4i Furio (fantastic car) and it's just done over 60k on the clock.... I've been advised by a few other people to get the Cam Belt done on it what do you think and how much ?
   
   Also when you set off from the lights there is a sqeeking sound like a belt slipping or something, doesnt happen all the time just sometimes when you have the revs lowish and let the clutch out slow any ideas?
   
   Anyway, the car in question is below Cheers for any help people!

   nice car, i think its about 75k miles that the timing belt should be changed, also the squeeking noise is prob the fan/alternator belt, just loosen it pry bar to tension it then tighten it back up, remember shouldnt be able to turn the belt more than 90 degrees

   my furio alternator is squeeking at low revs too,only in first and secont gear.im liking the rims on it mate

   I always do mine half the manufacturers recommended ie 36k and not 72/75k

   Aha! Alternator belt.. I'll give that a try at work on Monday cheers
   
   I bought the car as it is in that picture, thats the sellers picture because im just too lazy plus its a pain to keep clean in this loverly weather so i'll get some decent pics myself in summer 06

   It's not as nice as some i've seen on here but im happy with it and i dont really need to do that much to it which is what i wanted
   
   Wheels are Kahn RSS 17" by the way..

   Wheels are very nice matey, lexus lights are not. The grill needs to be blue aswell.

   I thoughts the lexus lights kind of set the blue colour off.. or that could just be me

    FurioRob - sax doesn't look bad! just not my taste.
    
    Yeah the squeeking will be your alternator belt.. had the same problem when i bought my sax!! cheap and easy to fix

    for a 1.4 i can see them being pretty nippy!
