i have a 1.0 saxo which doesnt run sat doing nothing...would i be able to us the manifold of this on my VTR as a solution to decatting it?

#2...ignore

#3Why not just buy a Decat pipe? There not that expensive lol
-
#5will lose SO much performance taking the inside of your CAT out becuase if you think about it you will just have a hollow chamber and the air wont fow through it it will just swirl around inside it
will sound shit as well -
#6failing this i have a 1.0 saxo which doesnt run sat doing nothing...would i be able to us the manifold of this on my VTR as a solution to decatting it?

#8if it fits it would work - would just have to find a home for the lambda sensors
-
#9Quote:if it fits it would work - would just have to find a home for the lambda sensors
has it ever been done before...will the lambda sensors be the same size?..how many sensors will the 1.0 have?
sorry for all the questions, its just if its possible im starting this tomorrow -
#15If the 1.0 manni is from a MK1 then yes it will decat your MK2 VTR if the cat is in the manni. But you will most likely need a lambada sleve.
-
#16now heres a noob question......why will i need the lambda sleeve?
is it to hold the sensors in place? i am going to get the manifold of the 1.0 today for a closer inspection
-
#18the manifold wont match up with the centre section, the thickness is so different, i tried a furio one and it was far to small
-
#20i had a thought about what you said, how come you can buy an aftermarket 8v manifold that can can fit anything from a 1.1 to a VTR then?...clickyQuote:the manifold wont match up with the centre section, the thickness is so different, i tried a furio one and it was far to small

#21i have the mk1 manifold off and have been looking at how it will fit on the VTR.
will the oil filter have to be moved or will i get away with it?
has this ever been done before?
