   does this doing anything to the handeling or are they just for show? does it depend on what brand and shape u get ect? thanks

   they do work and will help improve the handling.
   You will want a strong material though as some very cheap ones are so thin they are really just for show.

   get the OMP package from kam, will feel alot more solid up front
