Question about 4-2-1's

   Have been thinking of getting one for a while now.
   
   just wondering if you have one on a mk2 do you still need a de-cat pipe. Only reason i ask is cos the cat is attached directly to the stock manifold.
   
   
   can anyone enlighten me on this?

   no, manifold on a mk2 goes from the engine to under the car and attaches to the existing centre section

   next question, when iv fitted it how do I ensure I can replace a cat fot mot. Just chop a bit out !?

   use a mk1 cat and centre section to replace the centre section you have in now
