furio's false lowering

  1. #1
some prevoius expierence of lowering sax's is needed here, specifically furios

now before you click that back button, this isnt a post on "how do i do the rear torsion bar", or "how much it will cost a garage and who does it in my area ?", or "how many brain cells does ex-president bush"

its about this: is it true, that due to engine weight and other factors, putting 40mm springs on a furio will not lower to that exact height in fact its best to buy a 50mm kit to get that look?

    thanks in advance

it seems to vary between companies tbh what kit are you looking at?

they do not way that much diffrent do they

dont the vt kitted cars sit lower any way, something like 10mm. That would mean a 50mm lowering kit that would lower a flat arch 50mm would only lower a vt 40mm.

Dont think there is much differnce in weight tbh.

im not sure if it comes down to weight just the kits in general iv heard people going down 40mm and really wishing they bought a 50mm kit...
    ???

It's purely down to the weight of the front end when putting aftermarket kits on. The reason the VT's sit lower than the Furio and 1.1 etc is because they have different suspension (which is why it's lower as standard).

However the different between a VTR and a Furio when having a 50mm lowering kit on, will be too miniscule to notice, where as the VTS would be lower, and the 1.0/1.1 higher, just because of weight.

Also actual drops vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, some are higher than they state, and some are lower.
