help

   just bought a saxo vtr, and when driving home, giv it a bit and the steering and gear stick were shaking like mad, had to slow right down to get back to normal, also gear sticks got loads of play when in gear, any help much appreciated

   wot do i need to look for on the mounts to see if there worn?

   Sounds like it could be an engine mount , or unbalanced wheels maybe ?!

   cheers ill get the wheels cheaked asap, how do you check if the mounts are ok?

   dont know why an engine mount would make the steering or gearstick shake, wheels could be a number of things, could be a problem with a driveshaft or they need balancing, as for the gear stick, mne wobbles a bit aswell but its nothing serious, if there is a lot of play when in gear, maybe missing a few teeth, previous owner may have been a bit forceful when putting it in gear
