   hey, i have a black vtr mk 2, and after looking at my car with a yellow magic tree air freshener in it, im liking the black and yellow theme. apart from painting the calipers yellow, what else could i paint to make it look good, but not too outlandish, want to keep the car subtle, i have black alloys on atm, and am about to put some new springs 35mm drop on (yellow apex springs, which is handy). im also thinking of doing the rocker cover and painting the lower strut brace yellow as well, what you recon?

   change the door badges from standard ones to the vtr ones with the R in yellow, seen afew sets on here, they'll look smart and wont stand out to much

   right, have sprayed the chevrons yellow, and de-slatted and meshed the grill, have painted the calipers and dust caps, and have ordered some rim tape which should be here tomorrow, as well as the strut brace. im thinking of doing the wing mirror caps, the rear badges aswell, but depending on what they look like, might not keep rim tape on, could be ott! will put a pic up asap! any other ideas? oh, and the paint is fiat broom yellow, have gotta say, is looking smooth, cant stop looking at the calipers!

   oh, and will i need a different primer than normal to do the lower strut brace (metal) am also looking at getting this

    yea that looks sweet, i know halfords do bucket seats for 100 quid each, so might look into getting black with yellow trim, the centre console etc easy to get off?

    very theres two screws under the blank trim where the buttons are, and one on the bottom of the console i think. for a £100 you can get all yellow bucket seats of ebay, thats what i am aiming for

    Look spretty smart, ive got a white vtr, going with a white black and blue colour scheme. like blue interior lights, shoulder pads, dash lights etc, and getting my vtr rims painted black.

    probably a stupid question coming but just got a saxo and looking to do cheap, subtle mods to it... how'd you get the interior painted bits off... the Centre Consle bit looks tricky lol

    Looks mint mate,,those bucket seats would look smart aswell to go with the yellow and black theme,ive got a posi blue saxo and with the black and blue them,i was gna paint my interior dash and units inside blue,but im nt sure weather to keep it black or go for the blue?Ive got blue and black sea covers for the moment,with blue and black mats,black and blue 6x9's and blue interior lights etc..shall i paint the interior centre consols blue?

    Great fun taking them out, the central peace was th tricky bit due to the wiring at the back. Take a look at this section.

    i recon you could get away with the blue, not too much contrast between the black and blue, so would look good. have decided that im gonna strip the rear seats, get buckets, and new wheel, all with a bit of yellow in them, so think it might look too much if i do the trim aswell. thinkin of doing the rear badges yellow aswell, there black at the moment, but been debating it.

    Yeah if i get a nice blue it should be too loud loud,yeah the rear badges will look good in the yellow,you should try and see if you could get sum yellow saxperience stickers if enough people want them theyll get them done. Its just a nice finish with the stickers,ive just ordered some blue ones.

    ive started to spray the saxp stickers, then gonna put masking tape over the top to lift them off the backing together, then put them on the windows, might work, might not, but yea some yellow stickers would look the dogs danglys. still waiting for the barstooling rim tape and lower strut brace to be delivered, been a week ffs! cant wait!

    rim tape was off ebay, had trouble finding it, it is one for motorcycle, but fits up to 18 inch wheels iirc. the towing eye i found was from tweeks, but dunno if it would fit, any help?

    the raceland leather seats are only 175 for 2 and can get yellow ones, so may aswell get them
