engine splutter

well yesterday my engine managment light flickerd on and my car 51/plate vtr started to hold back then go again, now i get the odd splutter under 2500rev range were car seems to hold back then accelerate again,. Ive changed plugs / and coil pack but its still the same under low rev range. ANYONE HAD SAME PROBLEM OR KNOW WHAT ELSE IT MAY BE.........

I have same problem, but i've changed an awful lot more than plugs and coilpack. But still no luck. Think mine is along the lines of a slipped clutch

I've given up for the time being.

have you checked out the injectors? I took out my injectors when fitting a new inlet manifold and one of the rubber seals had fell off and i didnt notice so when it all went back in it had the same problem as what your describing id just check to make sure they are all seated properly and not clogged maybe get some injector cleaner put into the petrol tank

im having same kind of problem... its just in the mornings tho when my car is cold its very jumpy n wants to stall

but when its warmed up it runs fine

i fort it was because i ran out f fuel once and it could have sucked loads of crap into the injectors...
