gearknob

   hey i have been trying to take my gearknob of i have the top of but theres a plastic bit left on it which will not budge any ideas on how i can get it off?

   Is the piece of plastic white? and have a kind of cone shape to the top of it? If so then that is surpose to stay on. Its what holds the gearknob onto the gear stick.

   is the plastic bit stopping you from getting the top bit off, or do you have that off already?

   I think he means the black plastic part which keeps his gearstick cover on. If so give Timmy Mallet a call!

   yeh i mean the top bit has come of and theres still a black plastic part covering the top of the metal. any ideas of how i can get it of whos timmy mallet?
