Curious if anyone would know how much I'm looking at to get the front & rear bumper + bonnet resprayed? same colour being silver - was quoted £80 just for the rear bumper a while back

    Cheers

Depends how good a job you want doing. I'd say between £70-120 is the going rate per bumper. Bonnet a bit more. So possibly looking at around £300 maybe a bit more.

Would defo want a good job, a bloke from work recently had his door resprayed and the match up is awful, can tell a mile off that the doors been resprayed. Would be screwing if mine turned out that way... but then there's the question of where to take it (for a good job!)

Your best off asking for a recommendation in your regional section, then ringing any places you get recommended, compare quotes and take it from there IMO .

depends how much of a perfectionist you are really mate, ive just paint £150 to have my rear bumper re-sprayed.

Also whem spraying the bonnet you really should have it blended into the front wings as even the best sprayers wont get a perfect colour match, especially on silver.

not true in the slightest... if the colour was not spot on then someone may blend through the wings but there is no reason why you wouldnt spend the time and match and tint the colour to get it spot on.

To paint the front and rear bumpers + the bonnet would be £400 from myself..

the trouble is mate that a lot of bodyshops of shit, and they dont spend the time to get the colour right!

I know they dont but anyone who is in the trade and has pride in their work will do, insurance companies are cutting hours down on jobs so much that companies just cant afford to spend the time on jobs that they would wish..

    sad times..

it is sad in the past few years ive used so many bodyshops and they have all let me down, i know that im fussy but i dont ask for a cheap job, i want things done right.

with bodywork you get what you pay for.

i've just paid £75 per bumper and that was done at a favour for me, he usually charges quite a lot more.

the qoutes got were around £150 per bumper at respected body shops.
