knocking noise

   was driving about fine today antill about 11 then i started hearing a knocking noise on the front axle every time i put my foot on the accelrator there is a knocking noise coming from the front and can feel it on the footwell...
   could it be the drive sharft?
   any advice please

   could be any number of things tbh
   could be the bottom arm if your feeling it through the footwell
   could be drive shaft
   could be engine mount
   could be shock absorber/damper
   could be ball joint
   could be drop link
   hard to say without seeing the car to witness the noise.

   well it doesnt do it while i aint got the gas down like going down a hill or something

   sounds like the lower arm, the bolts have likely come loose which are under the footwells. its probably shagged.
   but no way of telling unless you get under the car, check the ball joints be obvious if they have split or if the arms bent.

   well i got to go to a body repair shop so could ask them to have a quick look doesnt sound very nice at all but its only happened since i put my vtr alloys on
