Which pads for these 266mm calipers?

    Checked the brake pad guide and i'm 99% sure I've got the '266mm with Bosch calipers type 2' jobbies. They are post 1999 - use the larger offset 266mm discs. Just thought I'd double check.



    The pads I'm after are Mintex M1144's.

    From that pic they look like Type 2's.

    I bought a pair of 266mm calipers that already had pads in, they were from a 306 Xsi and had type 1 pads in, however when i've ordered a new set of pads (for a 306 Xsi), type 3 pads turned up and fit in fine.

    The bosch calipers are a bit funny like that.

    i run mintex 1144s on my civic and they are extremely good!

    ferodo are also a good shot.

    and i used type 2 iirc

    I run Ferodo ds2500;s there ok but not a scratch on Performance Friction pads, Only thing that let the PF down is the uber dust.

    never had an experience with PF

    another one is AP dixel pads

    My brakes look similar to yours - Bosch type 54 and I put the standard mintex pads in them, the Type 3 pad from the list in the stickies.
