gearbox socket filler plug size

    does anyone know the socket size of the square filler plug on the gearbox?

    They are slightly smaller then 3/8 and bigger then 1/4, you can grind down a 3/8 one to fit or buy a drain plug set from any motor factors / halfords and they'll fit
