Exhaust

    I was given a cherry bomb backbox this morning for free, and also my other mate has given me a motorbike backbox.
    Im going to get a t304 stainless steel centre section made up with no middle box.
    So it will be S/S middle section (no box) and then either cherry bomb or motorbike exhaust.
    What will the note sound like and also will it feel more responsive or less responsive.

    cherry bombs are illegal on UK roads iirc

    so are decats but everyone has them.

    i think if your going to use one mate id get a centre pipe made up with a centre silencer...

    Had cherry bomb years ago on metro gti,was silly loud!! got stopped and fined loads of times.........

    Well i did not think that the cheery bomb exhausts are illegal. Also with de-cat i thought it was perfectly legal as cars can pass an m.o.t without one (with my last car).
    Anyways ill see what sounds nicer out of the cherry bomb and the motorbike exhaust and go from there. Aint the motorbike exhausts more free flowing than the cherry bomb. Ill get the middle section made with no box, gives it more of a raspy noise and less restrictive.
    I can get the centre section made in t304 stainless for £17 with flange/mountings etc so its a good deal.

    you can hear my subaru comin from over a mile away, (no exageration) and ive never been pulled about the noise? might be cos im not a chav in a tiny car with an exhaust bigger than the wheels like lol

    Haha gotta laugh at that. Chavs make me laugh they dont realise how silly they are. Well the cherry bomb is only a 2.5 inch and the bike exhaust is 2 inch exit so it will look subtle. Plus i painted the cherry bomb black haa so you wuddn know if it was or not. Police around here aint like that anyways, infact 2 of them up here have loud cars haa. I think they secretly love it.
