spraying rocker cover

    quick question didnt bother searching tbh...

    wen spraying the rocker cover is it all good to just use srandard spray paint from halfords? i wana re-spray mine silver.

    plus, are silver saxo's "silver quartz"? not sure of the exact colour code thanks (my saxo is a 2001 vtr)

    yeh it's fine to use normal spray paint, the rocker cover doesn't really get hot enough to melt the paint. The colour code is either on the inside of the door or stamped on the right hand strut under the bonnet. There's two types of silver for saxos. Quartz silver and arctic steel. The code for quarts is EYC, not sure about arctic steel though...

    Use hammerite paint,its heat proof and looks mint........
