decompression plate!!!!!

would you use a headgasket on a mk2 vtr if lowering the compresion with a decompression plate that will give any extra 9cc's of volume? its to go low boost of around 8-10psi on standard internals, i can imagine you would but not entirely sure? i know a lad who ran a 6cc decomp plate with a headgasket either side of it but this sounds a bit dodgey to me? any advice? looking for all the free advice i can get from all the turbo experts as i ease my way into the the boosted scene, also is this a suitable size for my requirements? can get them made up for 3,6 or 9cc's and posted out to you fro around 75 quid if anyones interested pm me!!- think thats a good price as dp engineering charge 100 iirc?

my eye are goosed as I have not long been back from A and E, so ill re-read weh I can see lol.

The comp plate gets boned to the head with something like holymar and then yould fit the head gasket between the the block and "d-comp" plate

8-10 psi seems a bit much for stock internals ?!

it will be fine with a descent i/c and good mapping..

car will be set up and running spot on before anynormal driving takes place, 8-10 is just a rough estimate? will probs only be running 8 maybes 9, and it will be well looked after and not constanlty abused
wait till sophi_bush gets his budget build up, sure i read hes going for 15psi
