locking wheel nut HELP!!

    ]hi guys,
    i need to change the tyres on my car but i have umm... misplaced the locking wheel nut key i have been told that it is a standard citroen nuts, so i went to the citroen garage near me and they said they cant get me one because i have no part number,!!
    anyone got any idea how i can get the buggers off without damaging my wheel, and is easy!! appreciate the help

    Hmmm, There would of been a number on the wheel nut unlocker thing like e.g 111, you would have needed this as they are all different, Not really sure how you could get it off otherwise.

    Any tyre fitting garage will have the tool to remove them.
    Wont damage the wheel but will render the locker scrap

    Yeah, i had some removed from a tyre place once. They hammered a slightly smaller socket onto the wheel nut then removed easily.

    hammer a slightly bigger socket over it and then just wind them off.

    you can also buy proper removing tools for them as well.

    weld a a nut on to the end of the wheel bolt if you can access the equipment and undo normally that how i got mie off when my locking ut got lost

    just hammer a cheap slightly smaller socket on and take you time crackin it off. its always worked for me at work

    usually an 18mm socket does the trick for the smaller socket size

    l done mine with a 18mm multi hex socket no problems

    I've been told off an ex con, that the way he used to do it was.
    Jack it up
    Tighten standard nuts up tight as you can get them
    Then use your fingers to unscrew the locking nut.

    Your ideas sound much better though!
